Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of tender website postings for new projects
  • Conduct a high-level review of all incoming tenders
  • Create and maintain all bid folders with all updates/addendums to plans and specifications
  • Coordinate submission of accurate, well-organized estimates on time following proper processes and procedures with materials and equipment required for job completion
  • Support databases including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs
  • Support with smaller scale takeoffs and estimates

  • Take ownership for efficiently leading the entire completion of complex bid processes
  • Interpret client contracts and analyze complex drawings and specifications including architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
  • Assemble accurate, well-organized estimates on time following proper processes and procedures with materials and equipment required for job completion
  • Support databases including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs
  • Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, operations, as well as other project team members to resolve any technical issues throughout the planning and development, negotiation, and execution of contracts

Reporting to the Area Manager, the General Superintendent will support Inflector’s operations team with a variety of project functions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning and project execution, working directly with the Operations Manager to assist with site management duties, field-level safety, scheduling of labour, planning of equipment and resources, and communicating with clients and office personnel.
